Peterhead turned Saturday's game with East Fife on its head in the closing minutes. The visitors had led since J. Healy's 77th-minute finish put them 0-1 up at Balmoor, but Peterhead levelled through F. Mackie in the 84th minute and then won it in the 90th when Z. To converted from the spot to make it 2-1. East Fife had started the season with a win and a draw.

Hamilton Academical are the early pace-setters after putting four unanswered goals past Airdrieonians at New Douglas Park. K. MacDonald did the damage, opening the scoring in the 13th minute and adding a second early in the second half, with K. Smutek's strike making it 3-0 before a fourth followed in the 90th minute. Airdrieonians, who had drawn each of their opening two matches, remain without a win.

East Kilbride made it back-to-back home wins in their first-ever League One campaign, beating Cove Rangers 3-0 with two penalties from C. Elliott either side of the hour mark before a third followed in the 90th minute. Cove Rangers finished with ten men after a red card in the 87th, and had drawn their opener.

Montrose's poor start to the season continued with a 3-0 defeat at Alloa Athletic, managed by Andy Graham. K. Glasgow opened the scoring after eight minutes, L. Rankin made it 2-0 before half-time and O. Foster completed the win midway through the second half. Our model had made Alloa slight favourites at 47%, and got the call right. Alloa have won 18 of their meetings with Montrose down the years, to Montrose's six, with eight drawn.
