Rumarn Burrell scored both goals as QPR beat Cardiff City 2-1 at Loftus Road, and Cardiff went home with their first defeat of the season. The opener came in the 36th minute from Nicolas Madsen's corner, the ball striking Jimmy Dunne before Burrell finished from close range; his second, in the 53rd, came after Ronnie Edwards won the ball in his own half and threaded him through to curl past Nathan Trott.
