Three from seven for the model in League One, and the loudest result was one it got wrong. Leyton Orient won 5-0 at Bromley, whom the model had backed at home — Jaze Kabia heading them ahead on 36 and adding a second on 66, Yusuf Akhamrich scoring twice within six minutes of the restart, and Armando Dobra sweeping in with his first touch in stoppage time. It was a second heavy defeat in days for Bromley.

The calls that came in were led by Leicester City, who took a first win since relegation 2-0 over Plymouth Argyle in a five-minute spell of first-half stoppage time, Will Alves and Harry Howell both opening their accounts after goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk was stretchered off inside the opening minute. Sheffield Wednesday, the model's one away pick, won 2-1 at Wycombe Wanderers on a disputed first-half-stoppage-time penalty from Jamal Lowe, after Cauley Woodrow and Louie Barry had traded early goals; Wycombe's Michael Duff was sent off in the fallout.

Huddersfield Town, another home call that landed, beat Oxford United 3-1 with a Joe Taylor double in three minutes after Bojan Radulovic's opener and Gatlin O'Donkor's equaliser. Bradford City, by contrast, were a miss and a home defeat, beaten 1-2 by Cambridge United and booed off — Sullay Kaikai and a late Ben Knight winner around Bobby Pointon's equaliser.

Two more home calls ended in draws the model did not want. Doncaster Rovers were pegged back to 1-1 by Notts County, Isaac Hutchinson's opener answered by Ollie Cooper; and Peterborough United and Stevenage finished 0-0.
