Scottish Championship REVIEW 5 Sep 2026: two from four, the home calls landing and the away days biting

Two from four for the model, and both its correct calls were home wins. Partick Thistle beat Ayr United 1-0, Seb Drozd turning in from a corner in the 38th after both sides had struck the woodwork; and Queen's Park beat Morton 2-1 on a Michael Ruth double, the striker's second soon after the restart settling it after Laiith Fairnie's equaliser, goalkeeper Jack Wills holding firm late.

The misses were the away results. The model favoured Inverness Caledonian Thistle at home and Raith Rovers won 2-0, John Robertson — whose pre-contract move to Raith was announced in May — opening in the 11th and Jai Rowe heading the second in the 85th. And Arbroath and Dunfermline drew 1-1, Michael McKenna's opener answered by Josh Cooper, goalkeeper Aidan McAdams saving to keep Arbroath a point.
