Scottish League One REVIEW 5 Sep 2026: two from five, Montrose keep rolling and the draws bite

Two from five for the model. Its correct calls were split home and away: Hamilton Academical won 1-0 at East Kilbride through an Andy Ryan goal in the 30th, and Queen of the South took a first league win of the season 2-1 over Airdrieonians, substitute Cole Coughlin equalising before Zander MacKenzie won it in the 78th.

The misses ran to draws and an away rout. Montrose made it three league wins in a row, winning 3-0 at Peterhead where the model backed the hosts, a Jamie Barjonas double around Jake Sutherland's header. East Fife 2, Ross County 2 slipped away late, County needing a Kieran Phillips goal in the 90+2 after Cameron Ross had turned it around for East Fife. And Cove Rangers drew 1-1 with Alloa Athletic, Owen Foster levelling against ten men after Layton Bisland's red.
