Scottish League One REVIEW 12 Sep 2026: A Cameron Elliott hat-trick at East Kilbride, and one tie that never kicked off

Four Scottish League One matches were played on Saturday and a fifth was not: Ross County against Hamilton Academical was postponed, so that one is still to come.

Cameron Elliott scored all three for East Kilbride in a 3-1 win over Peterhead, and the shape of it was unusual — the fifteenth minute, the seventy-third and the eighty-ninth, with Lyall Keir levelling for Peterhead two minutes into the second half in between.

Montrose beat Cove Rangers 2-1, Blair Lyons scoring in the tenth minute and Harry Craig three minutes into the second half before Destiny Oladipo replied in the sixty-eighth. Airdrieonians beat Alloa Athletic 1-0 with a goal from Liam McLeish in the eleventh minute and nothing else all afternoon.

Queen of the South and East Fife drew 1-1 in the space of three minutes: Connor Young put Queen of the South ahead in the fifty-fourth and Andy Munro levelled in the fifty-seventh.
