A good night for our model, which got four of its five calls right — and it even backed Rangers to win at Falkirk without their suspended manager. Lawrence Shankland made that one good, the striker Hearts sold to Rangers in May scoring both in a 2-1 win: an eighth-minute opener and a 79th-minute winner, after Kosta Nedeljkovic had turned a cross into his own net to level for Falkirk before the break. Derek McInnes watched a two-match ban begin from the stand, assistant Steven MacLean on the touchline.

Celtic, comfortably the model's strongest home call, settled a 3-0 win over Aberdeen before half-time. Camilo Duran opened in the 14th with a 20-yard strike in off the bar, Benjamin Nygren doubled the lead in the 34th, and Yang Hyun-Jun made it three in first-half stoppage time; Callum McGregor returned from illness to captain a fourth straight league win.

Two more home calls landed. Motherwell's 3-0 over Dundee United turned on a 14th-minute red card for Emmanuel Agyei; Sebastian Palmer-Houlden struck five minutes later, and Alex Lowry and substitute Dylan Levitt — a day after signing, against his former club — added two in the second half. The model's one away pick came in too: St Mirren won 1-0 at Kilmarnock through Fraser Taylor's fourth-minute goal, swept in from Nikolas Agrafiotis's pass, for a first league win there in over 13 years.

The single miss was against Dundee, whom the model favoured at home: substitute Charlie Reilly headed them in front in the 87th, only for another substitute, Josh Fowler, to level for St Johnstone in the 90th and make it 1-1.
