The club
Futbola klubs Auda are a Latvian club from Ķekava, a town just south of Riga. The club traces itself to 1969, when the football team of the fishing collective farm 9. maijs first entered the lower divisions of the Soviet Latvian championship. That team played at the Auda Stadium in Vecmīlgrāvis, Riga, later renamed the Alberts Šeibelis Stadium after the former Latvia captain. After the collapse of the collective farm system in 1991 the kolkhoz became the joint stock company Auda and the football team took the name with it.
Auda's own ground is the Audas stadions in Ķekava, a 520-seat venue first used on 15 October 2005. It does not meet UEFA requirements, so European matches are played at the Skonto Stadium in Riga, listed at a capacity of 7,000, with some home fixtures at the Mežaparks Sports Village. The club plays in green. The owner is Andrey Vilenkin and the general director is Fransis Žustēns Zodeugans. The head coach is the Frenchman Didier Zanetti.
Recent seasons
Auda's modern top-flight life is short. They were promoted back to the Virslīga for the 2022 season after seventeen years in the second tier, and won the Latvian Cup in the same year. Under Simo Valakari they finished third in 2023, and third again in 2024 under Zoran Zeljković, who had replaced Filipe Almeida. Jurģis Kalns took over before the 2025 season, which was the worst of the recent run: fifth of ten with 45 points from 36 matches, 13 wins, 6 draws and 17 defeats, 44 goals scored and 49 conceded. Auda also won the Latvian Cup again in 2025.
The 2026 season has been much better. As of 10 August 2026 Auda stood third of ten in the Virslīga with 46 points from 24 matches, 14 wins, 4 draws and 6 defeats, 39 goals scored and 26 conceded. RFS and Riga were clear at the top.
Honours and landmarks
Latvian Cup winners twice, in 2022 and 2025, and runners-up in 2024. Third in the Virslīga in 2023 and 2024. Latvian First League champions in 2001. The 2022 cup win, a 1-0 victory over RFS in the final on 19 October 2022, was the club's first major trophy and took them into European competition for the first time in their history.

Auda's record win and record defeat are not published on the sources read here, so no all-time figures are claimed. The largest European result in the club's short continental history is the 4-1 home win over FCSB at the Skonto Stadium on 30 July 2026, which completed a 7-3 aggregate victory over a Romanian side of far greater standing. The heaviest European defeat is 4-1 away to Spartak Trnava in the club's first European campaign, in 2023.

2023/24, second qualifying round: Spartak Trnava. Auda drew 1-1 at home and lost 4-1 away, out 5-2 on aggregate.
2024/25: first qualifying round, B36 Tórshavn beaten 2-0 at home and 1-0 away, 3-0 on aggregate. Second qualifying round, Cliftonville beaten 2-0 at home and 2-1 away, 4-1 on aggregate. Third qualifying round, Drita: Auda won 1-0 at home but lost 3-1 after extra time in Kosovo and went out 3-2 on aggregate.
2025/26, first qualifying round: Larne. A 2-2 draw after extra time at home and a goalless second leg, Auda eliminated 4-2 on penalties.
2026/27: second qualifying round against FCSB. Auda won 3-2 in Bucharest on 23 July 2026 in front of 13,319, then won 4-1 at the Skonto Stadium on 30 July in front of 3,618, taking the tie 7-3. It is comfortably the biggest scalp in the club's history.
