The club
Coleraine Football Club were founded in June 1927 in the County Londonderry town of Coleraine, Northern Ireland. They are nicknamed the Bannsiders, after the River Bann which runs through the town, and play in blue and white. The home ground is the Showgrounds, capacity 2,500. The chairman is Henry Ross, and the manager is Ruaidhrí Higgins.
Coleraine are the town's only senior football club; no other Coleraine-based association football club was established from the sources read here. They should not be confused with other Northern Ireland Football League Premiership clubs whose names are sometimes mixed up with theirs in casual conversation, such as Ballymena United or Larne, both separate clubs from separate towns.
Recent seasons

Irish League champions once, in 1973-74. Irish Cup winners seven times: 1964-65, 1971-72, 1974-75, 1976-77, 2002-03, 2017-18 and 2025-26. Northern Ireland Football League Cup winners twice, 1987-88 and 2019-20. Ulster Cup winners eight times and Gold Cup winners four times. Coleraine are the only Irish League club to have won two successive all-Ireland competitions, lifting the Blaxnit Cup in 1969 and 1970.
Notable scorelines
