The club
Klubi Futbollistik Dukagjini were founded in 1958 in Klina, in western Kosovo, and are known to their supporters as Hithat, the Nettles. The name Dukagjini refers to the wider Dukagjini plateau and the historic Albanian noble family of the same name, whose territory spans parts of both Kosovo and northern Albania; the region has given its name to various institutions and, on occasion, other clubs across that area, but no other football club sharing the Dukagjini name was found in the sources read here, and this dossier is only ever about the Klina club. Home colours are yellow and black, with white worn away. The club plays its home matches at the 18 Qershori Stadium, 18 June Stadium, in Klina, capacity 3,000.
