Inter Club d'Escaldes

The club
Inter Club d'Escaldes were founded in 1991 in Escaldes-Engordany, the parish immediately north-east of Andorra la Vella. They play in blue and black and are known as the blau-i-negres. Like every Andorran club they do not own a stadium of their own: European home matches are played at the Estadi de la FAF in Encamp, the national federation's ground. This is a small club by any European measure, and the honest description is that the published record is thin outside the bare results.
Recent seasons
Inter have been the dominant force in the Primera Divisio for most of the last seven years, winning the title in 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22, 2024/25 and 2025/26. European record
Inter first entered UEFA competition in the 2020/21 Champions League after their first title, and have played continental football in each of the seven years since. Until this summer they had never gone beyond the second qualifying round of any competition.
The 2026/27 campaign has changed that. They entered the Champions League at the first qualifying round of the champions path and lost to Lincoln Red Imps of Gibraltar, beaten 3-1 in Gibraltar on 7 July 2026 and holding on for a 1-1 draw at home on 14 July, out 4-2 on aggregate. Dropping into the Conference League champions path, they received a bye through the second qualifying round and went straight into the third, where they were drawn against Flora Tallinn, the Estonian champions. On 6 August 2026 at the Estadi de la FAF in Encamp, Inter won 2-0: Faysal Chouaib scored on 5 minutes and Domi Berlanga Ouggouti on 62. It is the first time the two clubs have met and the furthest Inter have ever been in Europe.
