A note on the name first, because it matters. The football feed calls this club "MKK-Dnepr". The club's current registered name is ML Vitebsk, and it is also widely listed as Maxline Vitebsk. Both names attach to the same club and the same fixture list, and several data providers still carry "MKK-Dnepr" as the club's identifier: Forebet's preview of the 6 August 2026 tie with Borac Banja Luka names MKK-Dnepr, while UEFA, Wikipedia and the Bosnian and Belarusian press name ML Vitebsk or Maxline Vitebsk for the same match. The lineage explains it, and "MKK-Dnepr" is a survival of an earlier identity in the data feeds. It is emphatically not FC Dnepr Mogilev, which is a separate and much older Belarusian club, champions in 1998, playing at the Spartak Stadium in Mogilev, and a separate entry in the same 2026 Belarusian Premier League.
The club was founded in 1983 as Avtomobilist Rogachev in Rahachow (Rogachev) and bought by the Maxline betting company in 2021. In early 2023 it cut its ties with Rahachow and relocated to Vitebsk, seeking a larger city and better facilities. On 29 December 2024 it was renamed ML Vitebsk, because the Belarusian federation does not permit clubs to carry a bookmaker's name before promotion to the top division. It plays at the Vitebsky Central Sport Complex, capacity 8,144, a ground it shares with the older club FC Vitebsk. The home kit is burgundy and black and the away kit white and black. The owner is Artem Leonov and the head coach is Magomed Adiyev.
Recent seasons
The rise has been very fast. The club came up through the 2024 Belarusian First League promotion play-offs and then won the 2025 Belarusian Premier League at the first attempt, securing the title on 23 November 2025 with a 5-0 win over Gomel in their final home match of the season. It is the first time in the modern history of Belarusian football that a newly promoted club has won the championship, and it broke the long BATE Borisov and Dinamo Minsk pattern at the top of the league.
