Paide Linnameeskond
Also written as Paide.
The club
Paide Linnameeskond were founded in 2004 as a satellite club of FC Flora and are based in Paide, a town of a few thousand people in central Estonia. Their home ground, the Paide kunstmuruvaljak, is an artificial pitch with 542 seats, which is why the club plays its bigger European fixtures elsewhere: the second qualifying round tie this summer was staged at the Parnu Rannastaadion and the third round tie at the Le Coq Arena in Tallinn. The home kit is black and white. No settled nickname was confirmed from the sources read here. The head coach is Tarmo Kink, the former Estonia international.
Recent seasons
Paide have been a fixture in the upper half of the Meistriliiga for six years without winning it. They finished third in 2021 on 62 points, third in 2022 on 65, fourth in 2023 on 53, third in 2024 on 72 and fourth in 2025 on 70. In August 2026 they were fourth again.
Honours and landmarks
One Estonian Cup, won in 2021/22. One Estonian Supercup, won in 2023. They have also lost three cup finals, in 2014/15, 2023/24 and 2025/26. For a club founded in 2004 in a town this size, sustained Meistriliiga contention is itself the landmark.
Notable scorelines
Record win and record defeat were not established from the sources read here. The results the club points to in Europe are two penalty shootout wins in the 2022/23 Conference League, over Dinamo Tbilisi and over Ararat-Armenia. The 90-minute scorelines of those ties were not confirmed here.
European record
Paide have played in Europe every year since 2020/21 and had never gone beyond the early qualifying rounds before this summer. The 2022/23 run, with shootout wins over Dinamo Tbilisi and Ararat-Armenia, was the previous best.
The 2026/27 route is the club's deepest. They entered at the Conference League first qualifying round and drew 1-1 away to Hegelmann of Lithuania at the Raudondvario stadionas, then won the return 3-0 on 16 July 2026 through Modou Sohna in the 17th minute, Abdourahman Badamosi in the 42nd and Kristofer Piht in the 69th, going through 4-1 on aggregate. In the second qualifying round they beat Zira of Azerbaijan 2-1 on aggregate: 1-0 at the Parnu Rannastaadion on 23 July 2026, Pa Abdou Cham scoring late from a Henri Anier assist in front of 943 people, then a 1-1 draw at the SOCAR Polymer Arena on 30 July 2026, Eren Aydin putting Zira ahead in the 5th minute and Anier levelling in the 71st.
