Right now (2026-27 season)

Altrincham play in the National League, the fifth tier. Their league position and results this season were not established from the sources read here, as the club's site read on 6 November 2026 linked to a table without showing it. The same page previewed an Emirates FA Cup first round home tie against Notts County at the J.Davidson Stadium on a Saturday at 5:30pm, with captain Tom Crawford interviewed, and made no mention of a tie with Sholing. A search found no confirmation of any Sholing against Altrincham fixture, so these two clubs should not be presented as opponents on the strength of these sources. Forward Pharrell Brown joined the squad, and Matty Kosylo won a PFA National League Community Champion award. How Altrincham reached the first round was not established from the sources read here.
