Forest Green Rovers

The club

Forest Green Rovers Football Club are a club from Nailsworth, Gloucestershire, England, nicknamed the Green, the Green Army and the Black and White Army. The club is not a Forest Green side from any other country. Wikipedia says the club formed in October 1889 under E. J. H. Peach, representing the Forest Green area of Nailsworth, and adopted the name Rovers in 1893.

They play at The New Lawn, capacity 5,147 (2,000 seated); the record attendance is 4,836 against Derby County in the FA Cup third round on 3 January 2009. The traditional home kit was black and white stripes with black shorts. In 2012 it changed to lime green with black shorts and socks, which many supporters opposed, and in 2014 to lime green and black stripes.

Wikipedia's infobox listed Jonathan Gould as caretaker, while its coaching section said manager and assistant posts were vacant as of 3 October 2026. The National League table page says Robbie Savage left to join Peterborough United on 2 October 2026 and names no successor.
