Harrogate Town
The club
Harrogate Town Association Football Club are a National League club from Harrogate, North Yorkshire, nicknamed the Sulphurites after the spa town's sulphur springs. The club is not Harrogate Railway Athletic, a separate local non-league club, and is not Harrogate Hotspurs, the earlier club that fed into it. Wikipedia is inconsistent on the founding date: the infobox gives 1914, the lead says the Hotspurs were founded in 1919, and the history section says they were formed in 1935. They play at Wetherby Road, opened on 28 August 1920, known in current listings as the Exercise Stadium, with a capacity of 5,000, of which 2,000 are seated. The colours are black and yellow, with a white hoop on the home kit in the infobox.
Simon Weaver is listed as manager on Wikipedia and Irving Weaver as chairman, but the staff list is dated 29 June 2022. A fan-site page for 2026-27 did not name a manager, so who is in charge now was not established from the sources read here.
