Hornchurch
The club
Hornchurch Football Club, known as AFC Hornchurch between 2005 and 2019, are a club based at Hornchurch Stadium in Upminster, Greater London, England, nicknamed the Urchins. The club is not a Hornchurch side from any other country, and is not Upminster Wanderers, the name from which the current club descends. Wikipedia's infobox gives 1881, when a club was formed at Grey Towers, though that club was wound up by 1885; the current club traces back to 1923, when it was founded as Upminster Wanderers. It was renamed Hornchurch Football Club in 1961, folded in 2005 and reformed that year as AFC Hornchurch, and took the name Hornchurch Football Club again at the end of 2018-19.
The ground is Hornchurch Stadium; its capacity was not established from the sources read here, nor were the club's playing colours. Daryl McMahon is listed as manager and Alex Sharp as chairman; the page gives no start date for McMahon.
