The club
Worcester City Football Club are a club from Worcester, England, nicknamed City, the Blues and the Faithful. They are not Worcester Rovers, the earlier club Wikipedia describes as the origin of the name, nor Worcester Sports or any other Worcestershire side. Wikipedia says the club was formed on 9 September 1902.
The club moved to Sixways Stadium, capacity 12,067, for the 2025-26 season. Home shirts are blue and white. Chris Cornes is listed as manager with Thomas Milward as assistant; the fan-site page read for 2026-27 did not list a manager, so this was not independently confirmed for this season.
Recent seasons
In 2016-17 Worcester finished in a relegation place in the National League North and were moved down to the Midland League for financial reasons. They won the Hellenic League in 2023-24 and were promoted, also reaching the FA Vase semi-finals. In 2024-25 they won promotion from the Northern Premier League Division One Midlands through the play-off final against Corby Town, after back-to-back promotions. In 2025-26 they finished ninth of 22 in the Southern League Premier Division Central.
